About Simone
Storyteller, poet, marketer — what do the buzzwords really mean?
I’m a Miami-based, New York-shaped growth and inbound marketing leader with seven years of experience across B2B and B2C SaaS start-ups. From joining small companies as the first marketing hire to jumping onboard rapidly growing teams as they scaled up to 150+ employees, I’ve taken marketing strategy from concept to conversion.
I’ve worked across several industries to:
Launch SEO-driven content that rapidly increases site traffic;
Manage and optimize ad budgets ranging from $1,000 to $1 million;
Establish and implement messaging, audiences, voice, style, and branding guidelines to elevate brands as a whole;
Experiment with innovative marketing strategies;
Analyze data to improve conversions and provide recommendations to company leadership; and
Develop strategies to drive MQLs and year-over-year revenue growth.
With a start in content marketing, I continue to take pride in my ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive work.
Yet, my passion for the written word has always extended far beyond marketing for me.
Since before I could even form a sentence on paper, I was telling stories and stringing together words in a way that could only be described as an early form of my personal poetic style. And I took this passion with me as I grew—attending creative writing programs in high school, receiving a B.A. in English from Harvard University (’15) with a creative thesis, and graduating with a M.F.A. in poetry from New York University (’17).
I’ve been published in two digital literary magazines, Prelude Magazine and Eternal Remedy, and am currently working on a young adult fantasy novel.
